Ethics, the Sea Lion, is Vivian James' pet.
Origin Story and Appearance
Background Story
Ethics was a sea-lion which was adopted and named by Gamergate, who organized a $5,000 donation drive to World Wildlife Fund, which was offering naming rights. [1] This was a response to Anti-Gamergaters from GamerGhazi inventing a new word to describe GamerGate's online tactics: "Sea-lioning." [2]
Behavior
Ethics is a noble and curious sea lion [3]
Appearances
After the adoption, Ethics also became Vivian James' pet and pseudo-mascot of KotakuInAction (He can be seen at the top of the banner and in the Comment Box).
