Robert Florence
Robert Florence, also known as Rab Florence, was fired from Eurogamer on October 25, 2012 for journalistic malpractice in criticizing Lauren Wainwright of MCV without first seeking a comment from Wainwright. [1] As the article had touched on the issue of the appearance of collusion between marketers and journalists such as in the Doritos Pope incident,[2] there was a widespread perception that Florence was fired for whistleblowing on the journalistic malpractice of others.
